Our treasurer, Dutch born Robert Wesseloo, came to South Africa from Utrecht in the Netherlands when he was 4 years old. His school years were spent in Benoni and the rest of his life mainly in Pretoria. Rob qualified as a Chartered Accountant and completed a MBL and various other courses during his career. He worked for various companies in SA and abroad with his final position as Chief Executive of Clover SA where he retired after 14 years of service with the company. The last few years Rob acted as a part time Estate Manager. He is currently chairman of a retirement village in Pretoria and a governor of Hospice in Centurion. The knowledge gained in these organisations has been very valuable, and with his past business experience, enabled Rob to put together a practical Guide for directors, trustees and those who serve on similar organisations’ boards.
He is married has 4 sons, and now 4 daughters as well and 2 grandsons with a granddaughter on the way.
