Our Vision

Quality of Life for people affected by Life-limiting Illnesses

Our Mision

By providing Holistic Palliative Care to ensure Dignity in Death and Support in Bereavement

Our History

Centurion Hospice has a rich history, having been established in 1997 through the dedicated efforts of four esteemed philanthropists: Prof. Philip Boyazoglu, Bobby Locke, Jetske Nell, and George van Dyk. These visionaries worked together to build the hospital on land generously donated by the City of Tshwane.

As a registered Non-Profit Organization (NPO), Centurion Hospice serves communities from the greater Centurion area to the west of Pretoria. The hospice operates under the oversight of a Board of Governors, with annual selections in September.

Furthermore, the Annual Financial Statement is readily available and can be requested. Centurion Hospice is a proud member of the Association of Palliative Care Centres (APCC), which plays a significant role in determining the quality and standards of the palliative care and services provided.
